Our Story

Julie Pearson, Co-Founder of Mindful Life Journeys, ran a successful, excellent rated, Care in the Community organisation for over 10 years which provided care for people in their later years. Drawing on her experience, she has worked with Maureen to create a unique range of Later Years mindful meditation sessions designed to provide new, affordable and engaging activities to the care sector.  Each session helps build feelings of peace, calm and relaxation, helps to recall memories, combat feelings of loneliness and isolation and encourage open communication, as well as bring some joy, happiness and laughter into the room.

Wonderful Activities

“Our Service Users really enjoy talking about the memories brought forward by the sessions.  They promote discussion, laughter, happiness, friendship and help to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.  We will be using them to fill memory boxes and life story work with lots of wonderful stories.”
