Why Mindfulness for Children?
Childhood can be a challenging time for children, their families and carers. Mindful Meditation can help children learn it’s possible to self regulate and not be limited by moments that affect them, emotionally, hormonally, socially and environmentally. You can subscribe and try for free for 10 days and you will get over 100 unique guided online meditations not only for Kids but also for Adults and Later Years with new ones added monthly, hints and tips to get started, live guided meditations, inspiring blogs with more to follow and 50% of profits after expenses goes towards helping others.
In 2016, Mindful Life Journeys were approached by a National Charity, Achievement for All, to create a Wellbeing Module to sit within their UK wide schools program, designed to develop and encourage resilience, to give children the tools to help themselves into an emotional state to support their learning and an ability to deal with challenges in an easy, fun and engaging way. These tools can be carried forward throughout life, building confidence and supporting children and adolescents to recognise their full potential. The meditations have been designed in partnership with Achievement for All school coaches, Head Teachers, Teachers, Children and Parents.
